Letting go of two jobs and “all the old crap”

In 2008, I decided to make a major change in my life choosing to leave not one but two jobs behind. I knew it was a change I did not want to make without support and professional help.  It could have been the worst 6 months of my life.

It ended up being a period of time I wouldn’t trade for the world.  Becca helped get me through a major life change and job hunt. She allowed me to let go of all the old crap and to become clear on what I wanted for the future and to vision my way to that goal.

My new job came to me – I actually didn’t find it.  I continued to do the conventional job searching, but it was the “visioning” that dropped the job into my lap!  I’m now continuing with the visioning and am on a roll to reach all of the goals I set during that time.

Finding calm in the midst of a growing business

After 15 years of video work, I started a new direction in my business- wow! That’s a lot on its own. I’m also mom with three kids, and do a lot in my community.

Becca reminds me of what’s important. When I get stressed out, chances are I’ve been trying to do too much, all at once. Working with Becca helps me decide what’s truly worthy doing, what makes my heart sing. And what pays me enough money to take care of my family without worrying about bills.

I’ve worked with Becca when I was first starting my business, and now I’m working with her to help me expand it. My income has increased exponentially, I know exactly where I’m headed, and I’m no longer at the mercy of the events of the day. Because I’m centered, or I know what I need to do to get back to my center again. This has made all the difference.

Making room in my business for more of what I want

When I first started working with Becca, I had a lot of small clients, and was running around to keep them all happy. I also wasn’t charging enough. I’d filled up my workweek with client tasks, but had no time for my passion –riding horses—or my dream of increasing my income and shifting my focus to do higher-level consulting work and speaking, writing and teaching as an expert in my field.

Working with Becca, I soon got clear that I wanted to refer many of my clients to someone else. I had to let go of day-to-day bookkeeping and operations, in order to do more of higher-level consulting with my clients.

As a result, two big startups have approached me to help them set up their businesses. My business is through the roof, and I’m referring lots of business to people who love keeping the books and managing projects. I’ve also rearranged my schedule so I can work on writing my book every week, so I can help even more people set up their businesses.

Who says my business can’t be beautiful, spiritual, and make money at the same time?

Becca’s the real, irreverant, and loving antidote to what ails us. She’s a living lighthouse of another way to live. And a reminder that “having it all” is a bunch of horse poop!  (Why have it all, when you can simply have what you need and then take a nap, tea with your friend, or the sheer pleasure of an afternoon swim?)

When I started my company, I thought I might have to give up parts of myself in order to be “successful.” Thank goodness I found Becca! She’s taught me to trust my own vision of success, to give freely and with my whole beautiful heart, and to be gentle with myself and others as I go along.

My business is now my art and my teacher, thanks to what I’ve learned with Becca. And it can be yours, too, if you feel moved to work with her.  Your only regret may be like mine: that you didn’t find her sooner!
