What are avoiding, putting off or resisting?

“Anyone who wonders why I follow
you up high, like a windblown swallow,
up up through your spaces,
has never ever been there
turning and rolling in your graces,
breathing your sweet scented air.

Nothing there for one to get:
nothing except to be met
by your presence, met there
in the midst of your sweet scented air.

How could one not follow your flavor,
rising in the skies to seek favor?
Black wings and bright white hair
there, in the midst of your sweet-scent air.”

Poem by Birrell Walsh

Resistance is a touchy subject with me right now.  So much has been happening in my life that I keep putting off writing this newsletter.  What’s up with that?  I miss hearing from so many of you who respond to these messages.

Finally today I decided – today is the day! – I’ll drop one of my favorite humming bird photos in and this wonderful poem from my friend Birrell and start writing.

Where to begin?  I’m in an intense studying and learning period.  Attended a marketing seminar for coaches with Christian Mickelsen in San Diego.  I’m so filled up with new information and ideas that I don’t know quite where to begin.  Staying in touch with my beloved friends and clients feels good though, no matter what.

If you have been putting off finding a great group of women to join for weekly support, fun and encouragement, I’ve got wonderful news for you. Beginning on Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 9th at 7 p.m. I will begin a six-month program based on Esther Blum’s book EAT, DRINK and BE GORGEOUS.

We will be practicing together to eat mindfully, breathe fully, move more joyfully and laugh a lot!  The group is limited to 10 participants and five wonderful women have already committed.  Call right now to join in the fun.

 With love & gratitude, Becca
